ABOUT PSC

Tempo & Tails hemp is sourced exclusively from our parent company – PSC Group, a hemp industry pioneer with over 5 years of experience in growing and breeding in-house hemp strains. We grow hemp without the use of any pesticides, using clean liquid CO₂ extraction to produce the purest product available, delivering a full-spectrum profile of terpenes, flavonoids, and phytocannabinoids.

CO₂ extraction uses supercritical carbon dioxide to separate the CBD-rich hemp extract from the plant material. “Supercritical” refers to the CO2 containing properties of both a liquid and a gas state. During CO2 extraction, a series of pressurized chambers and pumps are used to expose CO2 to high pressure and very low temperatures, resulting in an extracted oil containing high amounts of CBD. This is also considered the cleanest and most effective method to maintain a 95% yield.

PSC-GRP is a vertically integrated company controlling the full Seed to Product manufacturing process.

ABOUT TEMPO & TAILS

Tempo & Tails is a rebrand of a former brand by the name of RxCBD. RxCBD was launched in 2014 & was rebranded to Tempo & Tails in 2019.

As a company that believes in plant-based solutions and their broad benefits for pets & people, we realized that “Rx” represented something totally different. We decided to move away from medical sounding terms and focus on what really makes our brand stand out – the quality of our products and the deep compassion we have for our pets.

WHAT IS CBD ?

The 2018 Farm Bill legalized the production and sale of hemp and its extracts. Hemp, by federal law, cannot contain more than 0.3% THC (tetrahydrocannabinol). Once the plant’s THC level exceeds the 0.3% rate, the plant would be classified as marijuana and considered a schedule 1 drug by the Drug Enforcement Administration.

The plant Cannabis Sativa has two primary varieties, hemp and marijuana. Both contain CBD, but the hemp plant’s CBD potency is significantly higher , while its THC levels are much lower (less than 0.3%), compared to marijuana.

When people talk abouthemp oil, they’re usually referring to oil extracted from the seeds of the hemp plant. There are no cannabinoids—CBD or THC—in hemp oil. This ingredient is packed with healthy fats andoften appears in beauty productsfor its moisturizing benefits. Full Spectrum Hemp Extract is derived from the flowers of the hemp plant, it’s high in CBD and other cannabinoids (like CBC & CBN, amongst others) as well as terpenes and flavonoids.

Full Spectrum Hemp ExtractProducts containing the full array of cannabinoids and terpenes present within the cannabis flower. This applies toCBD productsderived from hemp – as well as THC-rich cannabis – since even hemp plants may have up to 0.3% THC. The variety  of essential vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, protein, chlorophyll, terpenes, flavonoids and fiber that compose Full Spectrum Oil, is what makes it so advantageous.

Broad SpectrumProducts containing a variety of cannabinoids and terpenes but zero THC. Essentially, Broad-Spectrum CBD is Full Spectrum without the THC. To create Broad Spectrum CBD, manufacturers will put their products through additional processing to isolate and remove as much trace amounts of THC possible while preserving the other natural cannabinoids and terpenes.

CBD IsolateThe purest form of CBD, in which all other plant compounds and cannabinoids have been completely removed. Isolate has a neutral taste and flavor as opposed to the earthy or plant matter flavors or tastes which come with many traditional oils and edibles.

CBD DistillateDistillate products are highly refined – albeit much less than CBD isolates – hemp extracts. It is the most common alternative to CBD isolate. CBD Distillate typically contains around 80% CBD with the balance including minor cannabinoids, terpenes and other plant oils and extracts
